Hi, I’m Pao.
I've built a coffee cart, a cold brew brand, a coffee and breakfast pop-up, and a resource hub for people trying to break into the coffee industry. All from scratch, all without a massive budget.
Bogotá-born, Tampa-based. Founder of Café con Pao and Una Más.
I grew up in Bogotá dreaming of opening up a coffee shop, of going to culinary school, and all the things creative people dream about. Then I moved to the US to get a degree in entrepreneurship, and for years as an immigrant, I couldn't work. So I got resourceful. I learned to build things with what I had, not what I wished I had. That turned out to be the best business education I ever got.
Café con Pao came from refusing to believe that a coffee business had to start with a $100k buildout. I worked as a barista, then became a GM, and finally took a leap to start my own concept. I started small, grew from there, and figured out the systems along the way. Now I share everything I learned, through guides, resources, and working one-on-one with people who are ready to build something real without breaking the bank.
Una Más is the other side of me: the one that grew up eating street food at the bus stop, watching dishes get made without recipes, and missing the flavors of home. It started as a coffee and breakfast pop-up in Tampa. Now it's becoming a digital recipe shop, rooted in the flavors I grew up with, adapted for your kitchen.
